Power Rooter Services
Skill and modern technology combined.
Call Power Rooter for sewer and drain cleaning and we will be on time and budget. Here you will find some of the services we offer.
Power Rodding
Most common approach to open up clogged drains, toilet, kitchen, and laundry sinks. Service available 24/7 to handle your emergencies.
High-Pressure Hydro Jetting
In some cases sewer line blockages cannot be removed with an electric power rodder. If the backup is a result of sludge buildup, grease, or even tree roots, then it may be necessary to use the High-Pressure Hydro Jetting service. We like to call it Hydro Rooter because it not only cuts through the blockage, but permanently blasts away dirt and buildup in the system.
Commercial establishments such as restaurants, warehouses, and stores should use High-Pressure Hydro Jetting at least once a year to minimize clogged drain emergency situations. Maintenance rodding and High-Pressure Hydro Jetting saves money in the long run when emergency situations are prevented. Call us or fill out the contact form to get preffered customer discount.

Sump Pumps and Ejector Pumps
Majority of homes built in the last twenty years have a collection of cells around the basement that gather up the rain water. The collected water is then pumped out by an electric pump installed somewhere in the property.
During a severe storm it is not uncommon to lose power and thus the capability to remove the water that's collecting around the building. After a certain threshold is reached the water will start pooling into the house, causing massive property and long term structural damage.
Our plumbers always carry sump pumps and ejector pumps in stock. A backup battery operated pump will protect your basement from flooding when you lose power.
Catch Basins
Catch basins need to be cleaned every 3 to 6 years. Catch basins are the round concrete structures that are usually found outside Chicago homes, usually in older suburbs such as Oak Park, River Forest... Over time they fill up with sludge and sewage, which will lead to the backing up of your sewer lines.
We use special tools to scoop out all the debris and prevent further damage. Due to the severe age of some catch basins, some of them cannot be repaired and may need to be completely dug out and rebuilt.
